I dont know if this is the right section, but i hope it is ;]. Well i downloaded the mod, some maps, and i just dont know where to put those. I'm quite new to this game so this might be a dumb quastion, but where should i put the maps, and where should i load them? I mean there's no folder like maps or smth. And also, is this mod playable only on internet or what?

Thank you for reading.

Just unzip the map into your Joint Operations Typhoon Rising Folder.  It's probably programfiles/novalogic/joint operations..

To play solo, start the game and host it on a LAN for yourself.

Why is this game 99.9% online play? The 1 thing that this mod has going for it that sets it apart from all the others is the ability to play cooperative missions. running around on a map trying to shoot each other with no real goal doesnt seem very entertaining to me... but thats just me obviously some people must like it. Still though if thats all your into half life has a mod with much better textures. But half life mod sucks cuz thats all it has no missions. Running around on a map shooting each other with a star gate in the background that goes nowhere does not constitute a star gate mod.

online gameplay does not mean player verses player

you can play co-op online.........

of course you can also play the coop missions offline, but most play them online with friends
