Cant seem to hide my fire and smoke effects. tried using "Hidessn()" tried grouping effects & hiding them. Cant seem to figure it out. Anyone else had a problem with this?
Anybody have a workaround?

You can't hide effects. When you ssnhide() an object that is generating effects, the effect will always remain. The only way to remove the effect is to remove the object.

I have not tested this feature with fx2ssn() but I would expect the same result.  If you had a waypoint at the location you desired the effect to generate, try removing the waypoint to turn it off.  A second waypoint would have to be placed at the same location to serve as the target if the effect needs to be repeated. If this method works, you will need to manually add the sound effects because the fx2ssn() does not generate them.
